July is starting GREAT!

After the Lucy’s 51 Blues Jam ended, I started checking out other jams around town.  And as luck would have it, I found some great jams and great players.  So if you want to see me play, you can checkout the Corbin Bowl in Studio City on Monday nights, Pat’s Cocktails in North Hollywood on Thursday nights, and the Stovepiper  Lounge in Northridge on Sundays  The Stovepiper is from 1:00pm till 5:00pm.  All of the other jams are from 8:30 till Midnight.

And on this Saturday July 6th, I’ll be playing with the GS Hit Squad at Silly’s Cocktails in Winnetka from 9:00pm till Closing.  Email me if you’re planing on coming, and I’ll let you know if I’m going to be there or not.  Even if I’m not, there are some other great Musicians that show up, so you’re guaranteed a good time no mater what!

Be well, and we’ll see you soon!

Lucy’s 51 Blues Jam Ends.

This Wednesday June 26th will be the LAST Blues Jam at Lucy’s 51 in Toluca Lake.  The owner has sold the business, and the new owner is changing everything.  So if you’re around the Toluca Lake area on Wednesday between 8:00pm and Midnight, try to stop by if you can.

This is a celebration of what we have done, and the Musicians who have met and made long lasting friendships.  I’m sure the “Jam” will turn up somewhere soon, but until then, we will be searching for other jams in the valley so we can keep playing, and meeting new musicians and friends.

No mater what, we will continue to support LIVE Music when ever we can, and I hope you will too!

Be well, and we look forward to playing, and Posting in the future.

Mike

As you can see it’s been a while since my last post.  Now that we have a NEW website, we will update this more often!  At this point, I can report I have co-starred on two shows that should be airing in a few months.  The first show will be on Comedy central, called Review With Forrest MacNeil.  I play a Homeless Man called Doctor Ericsson.  I think I’m on in the last couple of episodes of the season, but I’m not really sure.

The other show is called “Surviving Jack”.  It was originally called “I Suck At Girls”, but that has changed. (I get to have a shovel fight with Christopher Meloni)  It will start airing on Fox in the next few months.

I’m also proud to announce that I have signed across the board, (Commercially & Theatrically) with Avalon Artists Group.  I could not be happier!

Well, that’s it for now.  Thanks for stopping by, and for your continued support!

Well I don’t really know where to start. Hiatus was SLOW! However much has happened. I have lost three friends and my cat “Batman” in just the last few months. My friend Steve Hull’s Wife died, My friend Jay Murdock died a few months ago, Friend and fellow “Crab Shack Regular” Moss Mossberg was killed in a motorcycle accident 07/07/07 and Renee’s and my cat “Batman” who has been fighting cancer for quite a while passed away on 07/24/07. This is all the bad news I will report for now. NOW FOR SOME GOOD NEWS. Since hiatus ended, I have been on “Iron-Man”, ”Dexter”, “Tonight He Comes”, and got my first Speaking Principal role in a Toyota Commercial.

Also, “My Name Is Earl” starts shooting on August 13th. I look forward to seeing everyone at “My Name Is Earl” again, since I do consider it my home! Untill next time,

Thanks for stopping by and for all of your support!

P.S. I also started a new Website: www.meetthecrabshack.com (Check it out)

For the last three weeks I have been busy working on “My Name Is Earl” in the Crab Shack.
They wanted to get as much done before taking time off for the hollidays.
I also have an announcement to make… I HAVE JOINED SAG! This will now allow
me to tryout for speaking roles and advance my career to more featured spots. I must say
that I could not have joined without Renee’s financial help. She has stood by me during
my career change and believes in me enough to do whatever it takes to help me!
Between working in the “Crab Shack” and having Renee’s help, I am very lucky.
Well that’s all I’ve got right now. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted!
Thanks for stopping by and for all of your support!

Things with “Pirates” have changed. Shooting dates keep changing!
At this point, I may not be able to do the movie as my work schedule is staying busy.
I am still working on “Blades Of Glory” and squeezed in a role on a Comedy Central show
called “Halfway Home”, scheduled to air sometime in 2007. And if you are interested,
I will be playing Bass and Singing with “Skin Deep” on Friday the 22nd of September
at Mables Roadhouse in Valencia. If you like Classic R&R, try to stop by.
